Job Description:

This position is in response to our recent growth. We have a team of positive professionals who love what they do and the clients we support. We need like-minded individuals to help make our vision a reality.  We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain and repair HVACR systems. The Refrigeration Technician will be skilled in installing, cleaning, adjusting, diagnosing and repairing systems. You will be responsible for air quality and refrigeration systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.

To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems and equipment
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing residential and commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVACR systems
  • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
  • Assisting with customers' queries


Job Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates will have 313A certification preferred or minimum 4th year 313D certification
  • Posses a current TSSA Gas Technician 2 certification
  • 308A/R sheet metal licence is an asset but not required
  • 306A plumber licence is an asset but not required
  • Attention to detail and good customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively use test equipment, hand and power tools
  • Must have own basic hand tools and powered drill set
  • Possess valid G driver's license and maintain acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Knowledge of building codes an asset
